Single Malt Shining from the Distillery in the Valley of the Rocks (Glenallachie)

GlenAllachie Distillery was established in 1967 on the outskirts of Aberlour. Until recently, it primarily supplied whisky for blended whiskies, making it an extremely rare single malt. Billy Walker, a legendary producer in the single malt world, recognized the potential of "GlenAllachie," and in 2017, GlenAllachie Distillery became independent from its parent company.

Production Method

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 11 is a 10-year-old batch release bottled at cask strength, offering rich aromas and a full-bodied taste. It is a vatting of whiskies from Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, Oloroso sherry casks, virgin oak casks, and red wine casks, delivering flavors of dark chocolate, molasses, and ripe plums.

GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 11 has a track record of success, with 'Batch 4' being named World's Best Single Malt at the "World Whiskies Awards 2021" hosted by Whisky Magazine, and it also won Double Gold at the "International Spirits Challenge 2024".
