"Glenmorangie Nectar 16 Years Old" is a revamped version that further evolves the former "Nectar D'Or," achieving an even richer flavor. It is crafted by aging the spirit for 14 years in bourbon casks, followed by a two-year finishing period in four types of sweet white wine casks: Sauternes, Monbazillac, Moscatel, and Tokaji, which creates a delicate yet complex flavor.
Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distilling and Whisky Creation, describes it as "a whisky worthy of being called an exquisite drink." Its floral and splendid taste, expertly harmonizing the distinct characteristics of various sweet wine casks, is akin to a dessert. Its beautiful bronze-gold appearance is also a charm, making it a perfect choice for after-dinner enjoyment or as a special gift.
