From the Whiskey Museum series, we offer 100ml of Suntory's single malt "Hakushu" by volume.
Hakushu is known as the "Forest Distillery," and this single malt is produced at the Hakushu Distillery, surrounded by the rich natural environment of the Southern Alps. It is characterized by a refreshing and light style, and this non-age statement bottle most directly embodies Hakushu's distinctive crispness.
Its fresh aroma, reminiscent of mint and young leaves, a subtle smokiness, and fruity notes like green apple and pear intertwine, spreading a light and clear taste. The finish brings a pleasant, forest-like smokiness, making it an excellent match for highballs. This clean style can also be enjoyed straight or on the rocks, without tiring the palate.
It is one of Japan's leading single malts, suitable for a wide range of uses, from daily enjoyment to gifting.
