Unlike the standard line, Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is a premium expression, bottled individually from barrels hand-selected by the Master Distiller. It is officially described as having a taste of "layered caramel and spice, with bright fruit notes."
The aroma is said to have vanilla, sweet fruit, and subtle spice, followed by a taste characterized by "spice and rich caramel." The official description states that the finish leaves lingering notes of medium oak, clove, and banana.
