Kanosuke Distillery, known as one of Japan's southernmost whisky distilleries, utilizes the serene environment facing Fukiagehama Beach and its expertise in barrel aging cultivated through shochu production to craft its whiskies. This particular release is a standard single malt, a vatting of malt whiskies produced in three different pot stills, primarily matured in American white oak recharred barrels, along with other barrel types.

It offers a sweet aroma reminiscent of honey, caramel, and banana, with a refreshing hint of lemon tea. The taste is smooth, with a gentle sweetness that evokes Japanese confectionery and a spread of spices, leading to a lingering finish with a subtle saltiness and an elegant bittersweetness.

With a smooth mouthfeel that belies its 48% ABV, this bottle can be enjoyed neat, or with a small amount of water to reveal different characteristics. This 100ml bottle allows you to easily experience a new individuality of Japanese whisky.
