KANOSUKEのフラッグシップ「シングルモルト嘉之助」を、シェリー樽で華やかに彩った数量限定版です。シェリー樽比率60%以上という贅沢な構成で、オロロソ樽とクリームシェリー樽で熟成させた原酒をふんだんに使用しています。
こだわりのポイント
厚みと力強さを持つオロロソ樽と、甘やかさを与えるクリームシェリー樽をキーモルトに、嘉之助のDNAである焼酎リチャー樽由来の"和"のスパイスと、アメリカン・ホワイトオーク新樽のニュアンスを重ねています。冷却ろ過を行っていないため、香味成分由来の沈殿物や濁りが生じる場合がありますが、品質には影響ありません。
味わい・香りの特徴
色はべっこう色。ダークチェリー、バニラ、ニッキ、ラズベリーの香りに、レーズンやダークチョコ、クローブ、フルーツたっぷりのパウンドケーキ、ライチを思わせる味わいが広がります。マンゴスチンを思わせるトロピカルな余韻と、オーキーなほろ苦さが続きます。

48%で仕上げられているので、まずはストレートで。時間の経過や数滴の加水で果実味がふわっと開き、ロックにすると甘みのとろみがより際立ちます。
