History of Kavalan Distillery

Kavalan Distillery was established in Taiwan in 2005 and has quickly gained global recognition. Leveraging Taiwan's unique climate and exceptional craftsmanship, Kavalan has won numerous awards. Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Finish is one of the distillery's flagship series.

Tasting Notes

This whisky first presents a sweet and rich sherry note on the nose, followed by aromas of dried fruit, nuts, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it offers a silky smooth texture with rich flavors of raisin, vanilla, and chocolate. The finish is long, with a pleasant lingering sweetness and spice from the sherry.

Recommended Way to Enjoy

Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Finish is best enjoyed neat. Adding ice allows you to appreciate the evolving flavors over time. A few drops of water can also open up the aromas further, bringing out more complex nuances.
