"Kikaijima" is a brown sugar shochu produced by Kikaijima Shuzo on Kikaijima Island in the Amami archipelago. Since its establishment in 1919, even as many other distilleries transitioned to more efficient vacuum distillation, Kikaijima Shuzo has cherished the original flavor of brown sugar shochu, steadfastly adhering to traditional white koji and atmospheric distillation.

Made from brown sugar and rice koji, and carefully finished with atmospheric distillation, this shochu brings out the sweet aroma and robust body characteristic of brown sugar shochu. It's a genuine taste of Amami's island bounty.
