Oishi Shuzo's flagship brand, a blend of sherry and brandy casks
Oishi is the flagship brand of Oishi Shuzo, located in Mizukami Village, Kuma District, Kumamoto Prefecture, at the uppermost reaches of the Kuma River. The vacuum-distilled原酒 (genshu, undiluted sake) is aged for three years in sherry casks and three to five years in brandy casks, then carefully blended to perfection.

By blending原酒 (genshu, undiluted sake) aged in two different types of casks, we achieve a beautiful amber hue and a complex, rich aroma reminiscent of nuts and vanilla. This is a truly unique rice shochu that opens up new possibilities.
Recommended way to drink
We recommend enjoying the rich aroma derived from cask aging slowly, either straight or on the rocks.
