Oishi Shuzo's flagship brand, a blend of sherry and brandy casks
"Oishi" is the flagship brand of Oishi Shuzo, a brewery located in Mizukami Village, Kuma County, Kumamoto Prefecture, at the uppermost reaches of the Kuma River. The vacuum-distilled sake is aged for three years in sherry casks and three to five years in brandy casks, then carefully blended to create the final product.
A rich rice shochu, glowing amber, with notes of nuts and vanilla
By blending sake aged in two different types of casks, a beautiful amber color and a complex, rich aroma reminiscent of nuts and vanilla are achieved. This is a bottle that suggests new possibilities for rice shochu.

We recommend enjoying the rich aroma derived from cask aging straight or on the rocks.
