An authentic barley shochu made with 100% Japanese two-row barley.
We pursued "deliciousness and drinkability" to please many customers. This is our most popular product, known for its elegant and crisp taste achieved through low-temperature distillation.
The name "Himuka no Kuro-uma" (Black Horse of Himuka) originates from a description in the "Kojiki" (Records of Ancient Matters) from 1300 years ago, stating that Miyazaki has long been a leading horse-breeding region. It was named with the wish that this shochu would spread throughout Japan from "Himuka no Kuni" (the Land of Himuka).
