A long-term aged sake from Himuka no Kurouma, produced by Kagura Brewery in Takachiho Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. This carefully crafted beverage has been aged for over three years in barrels within a storage facility converted from an old Japanese National Railways tunnel.
Made with 100% Japanese two-row barley, it blends the refreshing aroma from vacuum distillation with the soft sweetness from atmospheric distillation. The mellowness and rich aroma developed through long-term barrel aging are nurtured through the "angels' share," where a natural amount of shochu evaporates during storage.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
Enjoy the mellow aroma unique to long-term aging on the rocks or straight. When mixed with hot water, the sweetness of the barley becomes even more pronounced.
