"Mukashi Mukashi" Sweet Potato Shochu, Brewed by Marunishi Shuzo, Established in 1868
Marunishi Shuzo, located in Kimotsuki Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, is a brewery founded in 1868. "Mukashi Mukashi Koshu" is a koshu (aged spirit) type of sweet potato shochu, made with locally grown Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes fermented in ceramic pots, and then aged for over three years in tanks.
Over 3 Years of Aging Creates a Mellow and Elegant Sweetness
The long aging process mellows the shochu, resulting in a smooth, easy-to-drink flavor. You can enjoy the elegant aroma characteristic of sweet potato shochu and its deep richness. The label features handmade Japanese paper from Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture, adding to its charmingly rustic and warm appearance.
