Established in 1923, Rokuchoshi Shuzo is a rice shochu brewery specializing in long-term aging. This Kuma Shochu is made from the clear waters of the Kuma Basin, through which the Kuma River, one of Japan's three fastest-flowing rivers, flows, and rice harvested in abundance. After distillation, it is shipped after an average of 12 years of aging. It is carefully refined in a storage facility that replicates the temperature and humidity of the Scottish Highlands, resulting in a mellow and deep flavor.
Recommended way to enjoy
Enjoy the aroma of aging slowly on the rocks or with water. When mixed with hot water, the umami of the rice is further enhanced.
