2026年に収穫した芋だけで造る「桜島 年号焼酎 2026年」900ml。獲れたての芋で仕込んだ、若々しく力強い甘みの新焼酎です。
2026年の芋だけで造る、単一年号の新焼酎
「桜島 年号焼酎」は、その年に収穫した芋で仕込み、その年に蒸留・瓶詰めする本坊酒造の単一年号焼酎です。2026年版は、南薩摩産の黄金千貫を2026年に収穫したものだけを使い、白麹で仕込んで常圧蒸留、知覧の天然水で割水しています。製造は知覧蒸溜所。蔵元は、新鮮で軽快な香りと、新酒らしい若々しく力強い甘みを特長に挙げています。2026年10月上旬に数量限定で発売。ラベルは第27回桜島美術展「桜島アートラベル賞」の受賞作品です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
まずはその年の芋の個性を、お湯割りやロックで素直に。900mlは飲みきりやすく、新焼酎の季節を気軽に楽しめるサイズです。蔵元によると瓶で貯蔵すると熟成による変化も楽しめるので、1本は開けて1本は寝かせる、という楽しみ方もできます。
