"Satsuma Shimabijin" is the flagship brand of Nagashima Kensho, located in Nagashima Town, Kagoshima Prefecture. It is crafted using sweet potatoes grown in Nagashima Town's warm climate and fertile red soil, and is a blend of shochu from five distilleries: Miyauchi Shuzo, Miyanotsuyu Shuzo, Nagayama Shuzo, Sugimoto Shuzo, and Minami Shuzo.
