1933年に商標登録された霧島酒造のロングセラー「霧島」が、2015年に独自開発の「平成宮崎酵母」を用いたリニューアルとともに生まれ変わった「白霧島」。白麹仕込みのコクのある甘みと、まろやかな喉越しが持ち味の芋焼酎です。
内容紹介
南九州のシラス台地で育ったさつまいも「黄金千貫」と、霧島連山の清冽な地下水「霧島裂罅水」を使い、白麹で仕込んだ本格芋焼酎です。黒霧島の発売以降、白いラベルから「白霧島」の愛称で親しまれてきましたが、酵母を一新した2015年のリニューアルを機に正式名称となりました。どしっとしたコクとほわんとした甘みが特徴です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
お湯割りにすると、まろやかな甘みと香りがふわりと広がります。刺身や天ぷらなど、素材の味を活かした料理と合わせるのがおすすめです。
