[Special Price for Scratches/Dents] Suntory Kakubin 5L Commercial PET Bottle 40 Proof Whisky Outlet Sumitaya
【Special Price for Scratched/Dented】Suntory Kakubin 5L. The "restaurant taste" crafted from Yamazaki and Hakushu malt whiskies, now at a special price for practicality.
Since its birth in 1937, "Suntory Kakubin" has been cherished as a symbol of Japanese whisky culture. We are offering the large 5L commercial plastic bottle, also chosen by restaurants, as an outlet product with "scratches and dents" on the bottle itself, at a special price.
【Please read before purchasing: Product has scratches/dents】
This product has scratches and dents on the bottle exterior from transportation or storage. The quality of the whisky inside is not affected at all, making it ideal for customers who prioritize practicality and think, "I don't mind the appearance since it's for home use" or "If the contents are the same, I'd rather save money."
【In case of leakage】
We take utmost care in quality control and packaging, but if you receive the product with any defects such as leakage, please contact us immediately. We will promptly arrange an exchange.
Careful Production Method and Blending
Suntory's proud bourbon cask whiskies from "Yamazaki Distillery" and "Hakushu Distillery" are blended in a balanced way. While maintaining its traditional taste, the 2021 renewal added "lemon peel spirits," evolving the design to further enhance the refreshing sensation when made into a highball and the original richness of the whisky.
Taste and Aroma Characteristics
The biggest features are the sweet aroma derived from bourbon casks and the rich body. It has a mellow mouthfeel, and a dry, crisp finish that doesn't interfere with the taste of food. The hidden touch of lemon peel spirits adds a vibrant flavor the moment it's mixed with soda.
Recommended Way to Enjoy: Golden Ratio Highball
To maximize Kakubin's potential, a "Kakuhai (Kakubin Highball)" is essential.
1. Fill a glass with plenty of ice and pour in Kakubin.
2. Gently pour chilled soda, avoiding the ice (golden ratio: 1 part Kakubin to 4 parts soda).
3. Stir gently with a muddler. Finally, a light squeeze of lemon completes a professional-grade drink at home.
