"Taiga no Itteki" is an authentic long-aged barley shochu, carefully brewed by Unkai Brewery from carefully selected barley. This brand's unique characteristic is its use of 100% unblended sake that has been stored and aged in oak barrels for over three years, and by adding rice in addition to barley, it further enhances the deliciousness brought out by aging. It has a rich aroma derived from the barrel and a mellow mouthfeel, as well as a sharp finish, resulting in a deep flavor. It has been highly praised at international competitions, winning the Grand Gold Quality Award at the Monde Selection 2024.
