Takakura is a brown sugar shochu brewed by Amami Oshima Brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture. It is a long-selling product representative of the brewery, made with 100% Amami-grown brown sugar, aged for over three years in stainless steel tanks, and then further aged for seven months in oak barrels.
Amber Color from Barrel Aging and Sweet, Fruity Aroma
The additional aging in oak barrels gives it an amber color and a rich flavor that harmonizes a sweet, fruity aroma with the mellow richness of brown sugar. It received consecutive Monde Selection Gold Awards in 2008 and 2009. The generous 1800ml size allows you to enjoy it slowly at home.
