This umeshu was created by applying the techniques of that perilla shochu. It is characterized by its clear ruby color, which is achieved solely by the natural pigments of perilla, without the use of any artificial flavors or colors. The refreshing acidity of green plums and the elegant aroma of perilla intertwine, creating a subtle perilla fragrance that wafts through the mouth, followed by a crisp, light aftertaste. It is a sophisticated drink that doesn't have the cloying sweetness often associated with umeshu.
