This whiskey is produced using a unique Irish method, triple-distilled in a pot still from malted and unmalted barley.It undergoes "double aging," maturing first in first-fill bourbon barrels and then finishing in European oak Oloroso sherry casks, before being bottled in small batches. Tasting Notes
- Color: Burnished copper
- Nose: Perfumy and floral. Aromas of honey-laden flowers and honey are followed by oak, fudge, and clove.
- Palate: Sweetness of toffee and vanilla with a hint of black pepper, leading to a spicy finish.
