Carefully selected ingredients and preparation
Togouchi Whisky is carefully distilled using selected malt and pristine water in traditional pot stills. This process produces a new make characterized by a fruity and estery aroma.
Unique aging environment
The whisky is aged inside the Togouchi Tunnel, located deep in the mountains of northwestern Hiroshima. This tunnel maintains a cool and humid environment throughout the year, characterized by a misty, fantastical atmosphere. This unique environment imparts a distinct aroma, flavor, and depth to the whisky.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
A rich estery aroma of banana, apple, and melon spreads, with nuances of vanilla and fresh grass also perceivable.
Taste
Sweetness reminiscent of apple pie and cream puffs harmonizes with delicate flavors like jasmine tea. It features a light and smooth mouthfeel.
Finish
A long, refreshing finish woven from the sweetness of vanilla and fruit and a crisp aroma.
