On March 18, 2025, Suntory will launch a new limited-edition product, "Yamazaki Distillery Cask-Aged Umeshu EXTRA BLEND 2025 Osaka Origin Edition." Leveraging Suntory's over 100 years of aging and blending expertise, this umeshu is crafted using a special method, making it an ideal gift or a luxurious treat for special occasions.
Features
Flavorful Aging Techniques
- Based on brandy umeshu aged in casks at the Yamazaki Distillery, blended with malt whisky aged for a long period in umeshu casks and ultra-long-aged vintage brandy.
- Characterized by a soft, elegant aroma and a rich, mellow flavor with depth.
Special Design
- The product design incorporates "Izumi Tonbodama," a traditional craft from Osaka. The cap seal and neck label designs reflect this technique, which dates back to the Nara period, blending history and tradition.
- The cosmetic box features a cream color base, exuding a sense of luxury.
