Made with traditional black koji, Kuro Isanishiki is known for its mellow mouthfeel, gentle aroma, and deep richness. Unlike the standard product, this cask-strength version is bottled without dilution to adjust the alcohol content, allowing you to enjoy the rich flavor and body of freshly distilled shochu as they are. Available in limited quantities, this is a bottle we recommend to all Kuro Isanishiki fans.
Recommended ways to enjoy
Enjoy its rich flavor slowly over ice, or savor the changing aromas as you gradually dilute it with hot water or still water. It also pairs exceptionally well with savory dishes such as charcoal-grilled foods.
