4992283002139
Kagoshima's Okuchi Shuzo proudly presents Kuro Isanishiki. Since its launch in 1987, this exceptional bottle has been cherished as a pioneer of the black koji boom in sweet potato shochu.
Sweet potato shochu from the Okuchi Basin, shaped by the region's temperature variations
Kuro Isanishiki is characterized by the rich umami created from sweet potatoes grown in the Isa-Okuchi Basin, where temperatures vary greatly between day and night, and fermentation with black koji. The distinctive climate and terroir of the Isa region draw out its robust body and sweet potato aroma, creating a flavor that shows why it has remained beloved for so many years since its launch. Enjoy plenty of it in this 1800 ml bottle.
Recommended ways to enjoy
We recommend enjoying it on the rocks or with water to savor its rich, full-bodied flavor. Serving it with hot water brings out its aroma even more.
