Katsu Shin Mutesho-ryu is a sweet potato shochu brewed by Higa Shuzo in Kagoshima Prefecture. Founded in 1915, this brewery pursues a unique flavor that stands apart from others, embodying the "Mutesho-ryu" (winning without a hand) spirit.
A refreshing Muscat-like aroma and lychee-like sweetness
By blending multiple Genshu (undiluted sake) derived from fully ripened sweet potato mash and using both white and black koji, we achieve a refreshing Muscat-like aroma and a lychee-like sweetness.
Recommended way to drink
In addition to on the rocks and with water, we especially recommend enjoying its refreshing aroma with soda water.
