Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 Years 750ml | Rum Dominican Republic
A distinguished solera-aged rum known as the "Cognac of rum"
The super-premium rum Matusalem, also known as the "Cognac of rum," was born in Cuba in the late 18th century. Its traditional production method was passed down to the Dominican Republic following the revolution and continues to this day.
Description
Made from molasses, this rum is blended using the solera method by a master blender descended from the family of the original founder, then aged for approximately 15 years to develop its aromatic character. Notes of oak tannins and dry citrus mingle with rich caramel, tropical fruits such as banana and papaya, and flavors of dates and raisins, creating a full-bodied, mellow palate. Nearly 150 years of the brand's tradition are concentrated in every sip.
Recommended way to enjoy
We recommend enjoying it neat or on the rocks, like Cognac, to savor its aromas and lingering finish.
