This blended whisky is produced by Sakarao Brewery and Distillery in Hiroshima Prefecture, distilled and aged in-house. By blending原酒 (undiluted sake) aged in two different environments – the "Sakurao Cellar" by the sea and the "Togouchi Cellar" in the mountains – both owned by Sakurao B&D, we have achieved a complex flavor that allows you to experience the unique characteristics of each原酒 (undiluted sake). It is a genuine Japanese whisky that meets the Japanese whisky labeling standards set by the Japan Spirits and Liqueurs Makers Association, and its high malt ratio of 40% is also an attractive feature.

Flavor and Aroma Characteristics

It features a powerful yet delicate, fruity aroma. When poured into a glass, a sweet vanilla-like scent rises, and upon tasting, a chocolate-like sweetness spreads, followed by a soft acidity reminiscent of ripe citrus.

Recommended Way to Enjoy

Serving it as a highball is especially recommended. Diluting it with soda water enhances the fruity aroma derived from the malt and makes it even more refreshing and easy to drink.

About the Included Original "Can Glass"

Each bottle comes with one slightly oversized glass (total of 6) designed to resemble a 350ml can. There are three design patterns (color variations) that depict the two cellars, Sakurao by the sea and Togouchi in the mountains, using "waves" and "mountains" motifs. You won't know which design you get until you open the box!
