Barolo Terre del Barolo 750ml | Red Wine Italy
Terre del Barolo is a cooperative of Barolo producers established in 1958 at the initiative of winemaker Arnaldo Rivera. It is a leading producer in the region, with vineyards in all 11 villages that produce Barolo.
Description
A Barolo DOCG made exclusively from Nebbiolo and aged for an extended period in accordance with regulations. Daniele Ponzo, who has been involved with the winery since 2003 and has served as head winemaker since 2007, adds modern precision while preserving traditional winemaking methods. It is characterized by complex aromas reminiscent of dried fruit and tanned leather, along with firm tannins.
Recommended serving
It pairs exceptionally well with beef braised in red wine and aged cheeses. Decanting before drinking allows its aromas to open up further.
