Bruno Paillard is a Champagne house founded under its founder's own name in 1981. Though relatively young, it is known for its outstanding quality. The house is also highly regarded for its commitment to transparency, listing the harvest year and disgorgement date on every bottle.
Description
This Blanc de Noirs is made exclusively from first-press Pinot Noir harvested from four Grand Cru villages: Verzenay, Mailly, Verzy, and Bouzy. Crafted in an extra brut style with restrained sweetness, it undergoes approximately three years of bottle aging. Citrus aromas of grapefruit, kumquat, and mandarin mingle with nuances of red fruits such as cherry and delicate floral notes reminiscent of spring blossoms, creating a harmonious palate with crisp acidity and fine, persistent bubbles.
Recommended serving suggestions
This pairs exceptionally well with Japanese cuisine featuring delicate umami flavors, such as sushi and sashimi. It is also recommended as an aperitif, allowing you to savor the evolving aromas at your leisure.
