Fixin Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret 2018 750ml | Red Wine France
Since 1620, the prestigious Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, based in Vosne-Romanée, has produced wines from the grands crus and premiers crus of the Côte d'Or. It owns approximately 30 hectares of vineyards spanning 35 different appellations.
Description
Fixin is an appellation produced in the two communes of Fixin and Brochon in the Côte de Nuits. While delicate in color, it is characterized by a solid structure led by its tannins, with nuances reminiscent of fur and wild animals that develop into increasingly complex aromas as it ages.
Recommended serving suggestions
We recommend pairing it with rich dishes such as game and braised beef. Allowing it to breathe for a little while after opening brings out an even richer, more layered bouquet.
