This wine is made from Kerner grapes grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido, but with the harvest intentionally delayed. By allowing the grapes to ripen slowly on the vine, their sugar content and aroma increase, resulting in a rich aroma of ripe fruit and a concentrated flavor with a balanced sweetness and acidity.
Grand Polaire's unique commitment
Based on the concept of "Japanese wine that connects aspirations," Grand Polaire uses Kerner grapes grown together with producers in Yoichi. It is characterized by a sweeter, fruitier finish than typical dry wines.
