Masahiro Shuzo's whisky production utilizes barrel aging, a process essential to their craft, which thrives in Okinawa's subtropical climate.
Within their quiet distillery, countless stored spirits are matured at a leisurely pace.
Masahiro Blended Whisky uses their own rice whisky (grain), made from rice and germinated brown rice and aged in American white oak barrels, and their own malt whisky, made from Australian malt aged in sherry barrels.
Their blenders carefully select and blend from a variety of unique barrels, resulting in a rich sweetness from the rice and a deep, profound flavor from the malt.
Enjoy the charm of this "Okinawa" blended whisky, which brings out the characteristics of each component to create a new, distinct personality.
A sweet aroma like chamomile wafts through the nose, with hints of woody notes, blackberries, and hazelnuts appearing and disappearing.
The initial taste reveals a full-bodied and spicy complexity, while the finish is elegantly refreshing with citrus notes, leaving a pleasant, lingering bitterness.
