チリの名門ワイナリー、サンタ・ヘレナ社のワインをアサヒビールが日本向けに展開する「アルパカ」。チリを代表するぶどう品種「カルメネール」で造った赤ワインです。金色のアルパカのラベルが目印です。
チリならではの品種、カルメネールの個性を気軽に
カルメネールはもともとボルドーで栽培されていた品種で、現在はチリを代表するぶどうとして知られています。アサヒビールによると、このワインは濃厚な果実味にグリーンハーブやスパイスの風味が加わった、エキゾチックな印象の赤ワイン。D.O.セントラル・ヴァレーの格付けで、スクリューキャップなので開けやすく、飲み残しも保存しやすいのが便利です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
ハーブやスパイスの風味を生かして、ハーブソルトで焼いたチキン、スパイスを効かせたミートボール、チリコンカンなどと合わせるのがおすすめ。少し冷やし気味の16〜18℃くらいで飲むと、果実味がより引き立ちます。
