Production Methods and Characteristics

Traditional Double Distillation Using Small Pot Stills

The Arran Distillery uses small pot stills, two pairs of two, to meticulously carry out double distillation. This process removes unwanted components during distillation, bringing out the inherent flavors of the whisky.

Matured in Spanish Oloroso Sherry Casks

For maturation, 100% Oloroso sherry casks imported from Spain are used. These special casks impart notes of rich dried fruit, nuts, and chocolate to the whisky, creating a luxurious and opulent flavor profile.

Non-Chill Filtered & Natural Color

The whisky is bottled in its natural state without chill filtration. Furthermore, no artificial coloring is used, allowing you to enjoy the natural color derived from the Oloroso sherry casks.
