「ビーフィーター」は、1820年創業のチェルシー蒸溜所を源流とし、1863年にジェームス・バローがレシピを確立したロンドンドライジンです。ジュニパーベリー、レモンピール、セビルオレンジピール、アーモンド、オリスルート、コリアンダーシード、アンジェリカルート、リコリス、アンジェリカシードの9種のボタニカルを約24時間浸漬してから再蒸溜。今もロンドン市内で造られています。
おすすめの楽しみ方
メーカーのおすすめはジントニック。レモン、ライム、オレンジなど柑橘を変えて楽しめます。ギムレット、ホワイトレディ、マティーニ、ネグローニなど、定番カクテルのベースにも。フィッシュ＆チップスやオリーブなどと一緒にどうぞ。
