ブルームーンは、モルソン・クアーズ社がブランドを持つベルジャンスタイルのウィートエール。オレンジピールとコリアンダーを使って醸造され、小麦に大麦・オーツ麦を合わせた、やわらかな口当たりとほのかな甘みが特徴です。濾過しない仕上げによる白い濁りと、柑橘のさわやかな香りが楽しめます。日本では白鶴酒造が輸入元となり、330mlの瓶で届けられています。
おすすめの楽しみ方
海外では、グラスの縁にオレンジのスライスを添える飲み方が定番として紹介されています。よく冷やしてグラスに注ぎ、オレンジを軽く添えると、柑橘の香りがいっそう引き立ちます。サラダやカルパッチョ、白身魚のフライ、チキンのハーブ焼きなど、軽やかな料理とよく合います。
