チリを代表するワイナリー、コンチャ・イ・トロの人気シリーズ「カッシェロ・デル・ディアブロ」。スペイン語で「悪魔の蔵」を意味する名前は、創立者ドン・メルチョーが盗み飲みを防ぐため「この蔵には悪魔が棲む」という噂を流したという伝説に由来します。その中でも、ブレンドで造る「デビルズ・コレクション」の赤です。
その年最高の区画のぶどうで造るブレンド
輸入元のメルシャンによると、D.O.ラペル・ヴァレーの、その年最高の区画のぶどうだけを使ったブレンド。2022年産はシラーズ65％、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン35％です（配合はヴィンテージにより異なります）。深く濃い紫色で、熟したブラックベリーや黒スグリにチョコレートやスギの香り。柔らかく甘いタンニンと、いきいきとした酸と紹介されています。
おすすめの楽しみ方
室温よりやや低めで。メルシャンのおすすめは赤身の肉やジビエ。ステーキ、ハンバーグ、焼肉など、しっかりした肉料理と合わせて楽しめる一本です。
