E. Guigal is a prestigious producer from France's Northern Rhône. Known for renowned Côte-Rôtie wines such as La Mouline, the company began releasing this Crozes-Hermitage after acquiring low-yield vineyards in the hills in 1999.
Description
Made with 100% Syrah. Grapes grown in limestone, clay, and gravel soils are aged for 24 months in 228-liter oak barrels. This structured red wine features tannins with aromas of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, complemented by notes of blackcurrant buds and vanilla.
