ラベルに描かれたピンクの象でおなじみ、ベルギー・ヒュイグ醸造所のデリリウム トレメンス。アルコール分8.5%の力強さと、まろやかな味わいをあわせ持つベルギービールです。
口の中がふわりと温まる、丸みのある強いブロンド
デリリウム公式サイトによると、色は淡いブロンドで、細かく規則正しい泡立ちが、きめ細かく持ちのよい泡をつくります。香りはほんのりと麦芽、心地よいアルコール感とスパイシーさ。口に含むと、まるでアルコールが口の中に火をつけたかのように感じられますが、実際には舌と口の中がじんわりと温まる感覚で、味わいは丸みが特徴です。余韻は力強く長く続き、ドライな苦みで締めくくられます。
おすすめの楽しみ方
アルコール分が高めなので、チューリップ型など口のすぼまったグラスで香りを閉じ込めながら、ゆっくり味わうのがおすすめ。熟成チーズやローストチキン、スパイスを効かせた料理と合わせると、丸みのある味わいがより引き立ちます。週末の夜に一本じっくりと楽しみたいビールです。
