ジファールは、フランス・ロワール地方のアンジェに拠点を置くリキュールメーカーです。「ピモン・デスプレット」は、フランス語で「エスプレットの唐辛子」の意味。生のエスプレット唐辛子を、マルティニーク産のラム・アグリコールに漬け込んで造られます。ジファールのリキュールは20度前後のものが多いなか、こちらは40度としっかりめ。唐辛子のフルーティーな香りと、ぴりっと刺激的な辛みが特徴です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
カクテルに少量加えると、香りと辛みのアクセントになります。マルガリータやブラッディ・メアリー、モスコミュールにほんの数滴から試してみてください。トニックやソーダで割れば、スパイシーな食前酒に。メキシコ料理やエスニック料理、チョコレートとも相性がよい一本です。
