Hakkai Jozo in Niigata Prefecture produces "Yoroshiku Senman Arubeshi," an authentic kasutori shochu made from fresh sake lees, a byproduct of brewing their "Hakkaisan" sake. It's a luxurious creation that only a sake brewery could produce.
Mellow and Rich Flavor Born from Vacuum Distillation and Over 3 Years of Aging
Slow vacuum distillation of the sake lees and over three years of aging create a full-bodied aroma characteristic of sake and the mellow, rounded flavor unique to kasutori shochu. It was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition 2023.
