白牡丹酒造は、延宝3年（1675年）に広島県東広島市西条で創業した、広島県内で最も古いとされる酒蔵です。「神石高原しょうが」は、その白牡丹が手がける日本酒ベースのしょうがリキュール。商品名の「神石高原」は、広島県東部の高原地帯の地名です。日本酒にしょうがの風味を合わせた、香り立ちのよいリキュールで、アルコール分は11度です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
ソーダで割れば、ジンジャーエールのようなすっきりした一杯に。お湯で割ると体がぽかぽか温まり、冬の晩酌にぴったりです。紅茶に少し加えて大人のジンジャーティーにするのもおすすめ。豚の生姜焼きや唐揚げなど、しょうがと相性のいい料理と一緒にどうぞ。
