瀬戸内海に面した呉市音戸町で、貴醸酒の造り手としても知られる榎酒造。「華鳩 特別純米酒」は、蔵元が「純米派のあなたへ」とすすめる晩酌向けの一本です。アルコール度数14.5度と低めに仕上げているので、食事と一緒にすいすいと楽しめます。
八反錦とこいもみじで醸した、軽やかな特別純米
麹米に広島の酒米「八反錦」（22％）、掛米に「こいもみじ」（78％）を使い、どちらも精米歩合60％。酵母は熊本酵母です。アルコール分14.5度、日本酒度＋5、酸度1.6（R6BYの蔵元公表値）。軽やかな飲み口ながら、純米酒らしいふくらみも感じられます。
おすすめの楽しみ方
蔵元のおすすめは「ひやでゆっくり、お燗でほっこり」。ワイングラスで香りを楽しむ飲み方も提案されています。焼き魚や煮物、瀬戸内の小魚の南蛮漬けなど、毎日のおかずと気軽に合わせてどうぞ。度数が低めなので、日本酒に慣れていない方にも試しやすい一本です。
