Kaido Celebration Red Black Koji 1800ml Bottle | Sweet Potato Shochu Hamada Distillery Kagoshima Prefecture
4951693151110
海童 祝の赤 is a premium sweet potato shochu made by Denshouin Brewery of Hamada Shuzo in Ichikikushikino, Kagoshima Prefecture. Blending Beni Satsuma and Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes, this bottle is prized for its sweet, mellow flavor.
Product Description
Carefully crafted using black koji, it blends two types of sweet potatoes: the intensely sweet Beni Satsuma and the standard Kogane Sengan. Deep ocean water from off the coast of Koshikijima, Kagoshima Prefecture, is used for dilution, bringing out a refreshing, fruit-like aroma and the rich sweetness characteristic of black koji. The red bottle was designed to evoke the sunset over the East China Sea as seen from Hashimaura, home of Denshouin Brewery, while also reflecting on the young people who once set out on journeys from this area.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
Enjoy it neat or on the rocks to savor its flavor, or try it with water or hot water. It is also delicious mixed with soda as a sweet potato highball.
