White koji, pot-distilling, and wooden barrel distillation yield potato character and a rich, robust flavor.
Made with Kagoshima-grown sweet potatoes and domestic rice koji, prepared with white koji, and carefully produced using traditional pot-distilling and wooden barrel distillation, this shochu achieves a powerful flavor that clearly expresses the character of the sweet potato.
Recommended way to drink
The original sweet potato flavor is not easily lost even when mixed with water or hot water, and it is also recommended as a base for cocktails.
