販売店の情報によると、原料米は広島ゆかりの八反錦と中生新千本で、精米歩合68%、日本酒度＋3、酸度1.6。アルコール分は17度と、純米酒としてはしっかりめです。亀齢は大正6年の全国清酒品評会で名誉賞を受けた歴史を持つ蔵で、辛口で知られる銘柄。酒造りの礎を大切にした「クラシック」の名のとおり、米の旨みとキレのよさを両立させた一本です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
冷やしても燗にしてもキレが冴えるタイプです。17度としっかりした造りなので、少し冷やして食中に、または40℃前後のぬる燗で。牡蠣の土手鍋や鯛の煮付け、焼き鳥など、広島らしいおかずと一緒に楽しんでみてください。
