Kirishima Shuzo, known for “Kuro Kirishima,” has released its authentic rice shochu “Kirishima Sururu” for the first time in approximately 20 years. It offers a new flavor characterized by an elegant aroma reminiscent of melon.
Description
This rice shochu was crafted using Kirishima Shuzo's unique yeast and koji-making techniques, offering a fruity, melon-like aroma and a clean finish. The name “Sururu” evokes the flavor when drinking it and the smooth sensation as it goes down. It pairs well with Japanese cuisine and dishes that highlight the natural flavors of their ingredients, representing a new frontier for the renowned sweet-potato shochu maker.
Recommended ways to enjoy
We recommend enjoying it on the rocks or with water to savor its elegant aroma. Mixing it with soda creates an even lighter and more refreshing flavor.
