About the Product
This authentic shochu is made using a labor-intensive method: the sweet potato variety Kogane Sengan is used, and the koji mold is cultivated not on rice koji, but directly on sweet potatoes to create “sweet potato koji.” Kirishima Shuzo describes this flavor as its unique “G Taste,” representing the three “Gs”: purity, gentleness, and grace. Enjoy the gentle aroma and soft sweetness distinctive of white-koji fermentation.
